Chennai, India, May 2024 – Mahua Banerjee has taken on a new role as Vice President – HR Commercials at Barclays. With extensive experience in HR management and business transformation, Mahua brings a wealth of knowledge to this new position. Mahua’s most recent role was at HSBC, where she served as Vice President – Business Management. During her seven-year tenure, she held various positions including Vice President – Business Management, Business Manager, and Business Management Analyst – Global Change Management & Delivery. Her responsibilities included overseeing business management, process re-engineering, and transformation initiatives in Kolkata.
Before HSBC, Mahua worked at Genpact as a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt for nearly five years. In this role, she was responsible for driving process improvement and efficiency projects across various functions in Kolkata. Her expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies significantly contributed to the company’s operational excellence.
