Amy Meyer brings a wealth of experience in strategic human resources leadership to SimplePractice. Prior to this role, she served as Chief People Officer at AppFolio Inc. for over seven years. During her tenure, she led HR initiatives that enhanced employee engagement, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), and leadership development.
Before AppFolio, Amy had a significant tenure at Citrix Systems, spanning nearly ten years. She held various roles including Vice President, HR Consulting & Services, Vice President, HR, Group Director, HR, Senior Director, HR, and Director, HR. In these positions, she was instrumental in driving HR strategies that improved organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
Amy also has extensive experience from her nine years at Openwave Systems as Director, Human Resources, where she developed and implemented HR policies and programs that supported the company’s growth and employee development.
In addition to her corporate roles, Amy is a Founding Member of the Alumni Council at the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences at UC Santa Barbara, contributing to the academic and professional growth of the department for over five years.
