Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2024 – Reliance Retail is pleased to announce that Yogesh Tayade has joined the company as the new VP HR – Chairman’s Office.
With a distinguished career in human resources and a robust background in strategic HR management, Yogesh will play a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
Yogesh Tayade brings a wealth of experience to Reliance Retail. Most recently, he served as Head of Human Resources at Landmark Group in Doha, Qatar, from September 2021 to June 2024.
In this role, he was a strategic business partner driving organizational success through effective people management. He oversaw the entire spectrum of HR functions, from talent acquisition and development to employee engagement and retention strategies, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Prior to his tenure at Landmark Group, Yogesh had an extensive career at Reliance Retail from July 2010 to August 2021. Starting as an AVP – HR, he seamlessly transitioned from Business HR Partner to spearheading leadership hiring initiatives. He played a key role in recruiting for diverse sectors including the Design Studio for Reliance Trends London, CXO roles for value businesses from Walmart China, Tesco Thailand, and global retail leaders.
He was instrumental in establishing HR functions for Pharma, New Commerce, and Beauty businesses, culminating his journey as the Head HR for JioMart, contributing significantly to its startup success.
Yogesh’s career began at Shoppers Stop, where he served as Unit HR from 2003 to 2006, further building his expertise in key performance indicators and new hires.
