Alison is incredibly honored to join the Piedmont family, providing strategic leadership to all human resource functions supporting more than 47,000 caregivers across 1,755 physical locations. Alison most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Cortland, where she led the entire HR function and provided strategic leadership across various talent disciplines, including culture management, training and development, organizational design, succession planning, talent acquisition, associate relations, HRIS, benefits, and compensation. Her efforts contributed to Cortland being recognized as a top workplace in Atlanta.
Before Cortland, Alison was Executive Vice President, Human Resources at CEO Effectiveness, where she developed and implemented strategic HR planning, succession planning, employee engagement, leadership development, and served as an executive coach to CEOs and high-potential leaders.
Alison’s extensive career includes a significant tenure at Publix Super Markets. She held various leadership roles, including Senior Vice President Human Resources, where she provided strategic leadership for HR and public relations functions, and Vice President Talent Management and Organizational Development, where she led talent management functions across retail operations, manufacturing, distribution, and support business areas.
Her early career includes roles such as Director of Organizational Development and Director Employment and Staffing Systems at Publix, where she implemented key HR initiatives and systems to support company growth and employee engagement.
