Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, July 2024 – Kumar Jagat has accepted the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Poojara Telecom, where he will be responsible for overseeing HR strategies and operations to support the company’s growth and employee engagement.
Kumar Jagat brings extensive HR leadership experience to Poojara Telecom. Previously, he served as the Head of HR (Vice President) at Adda247, an AI-based EduTech company, where he focused on building strong relationships, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Before Adda247, Kumar co-founded Sigma Education, an offline educational intervention aimed at improving IQ and helping young talent qualify for JEE and NEET.
He also held the role of Head of HR and Strategy at Jindal Stainless, where he was responsible for talent management, HR process digitization, and performance management.
At Adani Enterprises Limited – Natural Resources, Kumar served as DGM – HR, managing HR operations for the mining vertical, driving HR digitization, and leading employee engagement initiatives.
In his earlier tenure at TATA Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Limited, Kumar led HR for the Jamshedpur plant, spearheaded learning and development for over 2000 employees, and managed talent acquisition and change management.
Kumar started his career with an internship at Vedanta Resources Limited, where he facilitated recruitment and was involved in the design and execution of HR processes.
