Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2024 – Sachin Kaistha has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at DCM Shriram LTD – Sugar Business. With a robust background in HR leadership, Sachin is set to spearhead the HR initiatives for DCM Shriram’s Sugar Business, focusing on strategic growth and operational efficiency.
Sachin Kaistha brings over 18 years of HR expertise to his new role at DCM Shriram. Prior to joining DCM Shriram, he served at Cipla for more than seven years, where he held several key positions. As Director HR & Head Central Operations & Strategic Projects, Sachin led HR strategies for the company, managing a team across various manufacturing sites and central HR operations. He was instrumental in implementing innovative HR initiatives, such as designing capability programs in collaboration with BITS Pilani and driving the Inclusion & Diversity agenda in the manufacturing sector.
Before Cipla, Sachin was the Director & Site HR Head for Cipla’s Indore operations, where he managed HR and ER operations for four manufacturing plants, enhancing operational efficiency and employee engagement.
Earlier in his career, Sachin worked with Eicher Polaris Private Limited as Head HR – Manufacturing/SCM & R&D. In this role, he was pivotal in building strong teams, supporting green field projects, and maintaining industrial relations. His strategic initiatives in manpower planning and talent acquisition were key to the company’s growth.
Sachin also held various HR roles at Tata Motors, including Head Sales HR (South) for Passenger Vehicle Business and Sr. Manager Sales HR (North), where he worked closely with stakeholders to implement effective HR solutions.
His career began at Future Group India as Cluster Manager-HR (Punjab/Haryana/HP) and SC Johnson as Head Human Resource, and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals as Executive HR & Admin, where he gained extensive experience in commercial HR functions, industrial relations, and administrative management.
