Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 — Sachin Sonawane has started a new position as Assistant General Manager – HR, IR & Admin at JSW, marking a significant advancement in his extensive human resources, industrial relations, and administration leadership journey.
In this role, Sonawane will oversee key HR, industrial relations, and administrative functions at JSW, supporting workforce management, compliance, employee engagement, industrial harmony, and organizational effectiveness within one of India’s largest diversified business groups.
Before joining JSW, Sonawane served as Manager – HR, Admin & IR at Polygenta Technologies Limited, where he led strategic HR operations, administrative functions, and industrial relations management. His work focused on workforce governance, operational excellence, and employee relations in a manufacturing-intensive environment.
Prior to Polygenta, he held the role of Senior Manager – HR, Admin & IR at Caprihans India Limited (Bilcare Group), where he strengthened HR systems, industrial relations frameworks, administrative controls, and employee management practices.
Earlier in his career, Sonawane spent over five years with Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd as Assistant Manager – Admin & IR, building substantial expertise in labor relations, administrative leadership, compliance, and industrial workforce management. His professional journey began with M D Industries, where he developed foundational experience in HR and administration over a six-year tenure.
With nearly two decades of experience across manufacturing, industrial operations, workforce management, employee relations, and corporate administration, Sonawane brings strong operational and strategic people leadership capabilities to JSW.
