Sydney, NSW, Australia, July 2024 – EDF and EDF Renewables Australia proudly announce the appointment of Suzanne S. as the new Director – Human Resources & Safety. Suzanne brings extensive experience in HR and safety management, making her a valuable addition to the leadership team. In her new role, she will oversee strategic HR initiatives and safety protocols to support the company’s growth and commitment to sustainability.
Suzanne S. joins EDF and EDF Renewables Australia from Total Energies, where she served as the Manager – People and Culture Australia (Renewables) from January 2024 to July 2024. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in driving HR strategies and fostering a positive workplace culture in a hybrid working environment.
Prior to Total Energies, Suzanne was the Business and Human Resources Manager at WestWind Energy Pty Ltd from March 2021 to December 2023. In this role, she managed the end-to-end HR function, including strategic growth initiatives, workforce planning, talent development, and business operations. Her responsibilities also extended to marketing, communications, community engagement, and occupational health and safety.
Suzanne’s earlier experience includes serving as the Senior Manager HR, OHS, and Office Operations – Asia Pacific at SKIDATA APAC from April 2017 to March 2021. She was responsible for recruitment, employee lifecycle management, performance processes, payroll, legal compliance, and facility management across multiple sites. Her role also involved overseeing OHS compliance and quality assurance.
Before joining SKIDATA APAC, Suzanne worked as the Operations and HR Manager at Western Health Foundation from April 2016 to April 2017, where she streamlined invoicing processes, coordinated fundraising events, and managed various administrative and executive support functions.
Her career also includes roles at Officeworks, where she was the Executive Assistant to the CIO and the Executive Assistant to the General Manager B2B, as well as the Executive Assistant to the Director at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne.
