United States, July 2024 – Matt Austin has taken on the role of Vice President Global HR Business Partners & HR Account Management Team at Iron Mountain. In this position, Matt will lead the Global HR Business Partner and HR Account Management Teams for Iron Mountain’s rapidly growing Digital Business Unit, Incubation, Legal, Corporate Affairs, and Risk divisions.
Matt Austin has been with Iron Mountain for over a year, recently serving as the Global Head of HR / Senior Director – Digital, Incubation, Legal, Corporate Affairs & Risk. In this capacity, he led all aspects of talent transformation, organizational design, workforce planning, change management, high-performance culture, executive recruiting/coaching, and building a sustainable bench for the rapidly growing Digital Business Unit.
Prior to joining Iron Mountain, Matt was the Global Human Resources Strategy Leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he managed HR strategies for the Global Sales & Marketing divisions. Before AWS, he held the position of Chief People Officer and COO at Grasshopper Investments, overseeing HR and business operations for multiple brands.
Matt also served as Vice President – Global Human Resources Business Partner Team at Kelly Services, where he led a significant transformation to elevate HR effectiveness and service delivery across more than 10 business units.
His career includes roles such as SVP Human Resources & COO (fintech/SAAS) at Clubessential, VP Talent & Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, OD, Learning & Diversity at Luxottica, and Regional Director of Human Resources at Starbucks.
