Danielle Lazarov Joins Paladin Energy as Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer

Perth, Western Australia, July 2024 – Danielle Lazarov has joined Paladin Energy as the new Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer. In her new role, Danielle will oversee the people strategy and corporate affairs, driving organizational development and fostering a culture of excellence at Paladin Energy.

Danielle Lazarov brings extensive experience in human resources and corporate affairs to her new role at Paladin Energy. Before joining Paladin Energy, she served as the Head of Performance, Reward, and Governance at Roy Hill, where she led initiatives in organizational development, industrial relations, remuneration, leadership, and workforce planning.

Prior to Roy Hill, Danielle was the Head of Organisational Development/Remuneration and Recruitment at Beach Energy Ltd. In this role, she was responsible for managing people and culture, contractor management, talent acquisition, and leadership development. Her expertise in culture change, employee relations, and business process improvement significantly contributed to the company’s growth and success.

Danielle has also held the position of People and Capability Manager at Woodside Energy. During her tenure, she focused on enhancing organizational capabilities and aligning HR strategies with the company’s objectives. Her earlier roles include Human Resources Manager at National Pharmacies and Human Resource Business Partner at Santos Ltd, where she developed and executed people strategies to support high-performing teams.

In addition to these roles, Danielle has gained valuable experience working with Shell, Immersive Technologies, SGS, and WA Plantation Resources (WAPRES), where she held various HR advisory and management positions.

About Paladin Energy:

Paladin Energy Ltd is a globally significant independent uranium producer, listed on the S&P/ASX100. The company restarted production at its Langer Heinrich Mine in March 2024, achieving this milestone on time and within cost forecasts. Langer Heinrich is a world-class, long-life uranium mine, expected to account for approximately 4% of the world’s uranium production once ramped up to its nameplate capacity of 6 million pounds per annum (Mlb p.a.). With a successful 10-year track record, the mine has already produced over 40 Mlb of U3O8 and is expected to produce over 77 Mlb over the next 17 years.

Paladin Energy is also progressing its Michelin project in Canada, which has resources of 128 Mlb U3O8, with the imminent commencement of the Pre-Feasibility Study. Additionally, the company holds a portfolio of advanced exploration projects in Australia, including Mount Isa, Manyingee, and Carley Bore, with resources totaling 190 Mlb U3O8.
