Dubai, United Arab Emirates, August 2024 – Dixon Melitt James has been appointed as the Chief Innovation Officer at Air Chateau. With his extensive experience in tokenization, digital transformation, and emerging technologies, Dixon is set to drive innovation at Air Chateau, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements.
Dixon Melitt James joins Air Chateau from teamX, where he served as the Founder for over two years. In this role, he provided innovation as a service and sandbox as a service solutions, focusing on digital transformation in the Middle East region.
Prior to teamX, Dixon was an Advisor at elint AI and MySyn. At elint AI, he contributed to the development of safe and secure enterprise solutions, while at MySyn, he worked on a unique digital portal for identity-verified, real-time electronic signing and document witnessing, leveraging blockchain and AI technologies.
Dixon’s earlier roles include Chief Operating Officer at Accubits Technologies Inc, where he implemented blockchain and AI projects for emirate and federal government entities, and Solutions Architect at IXFocus Technologies, where he focused on product visualization for real estate developers and wayfinding for retail and industrial outlets.
His career began at Symantec, where he held various positions in India, Oman, and the UAE over nearly eight years, honing his skills in digital transformation and emerging technologies.
Air Chateau is the first and only private heliport operator company in the UAE, with its heliport and VIP lounge terminal located at the land-side of Al Maktoum International Airport. Strategically positioned under the patronage of MBRAH, Air Chateau is set to expand its MRO and allied business within Dubai South, the region’s first aerospace hub. With an ambitious $4.63 billion investment expected by 2030, Air Chateau’s heliport center will span over 42,800 sq.m., adjacent to the existing private jet terminals at DWC.
