London, United Kingdom, August 2024 – Mitie, the UK’s leading facilities management and professional services company, has announced the appointment of Victoria Biffin as the new Head of People for its Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division. In her new role, Victoria will be responsible for driving the people strategy and fostering a positive work environment across Mitie’s diverse workforce.
Victoria has been with Mitie for over two years, initially serving as Talent & Performance Manager, where she played a pivotal role in strategic leadership, talent analytics, and senior stakeholder management. Her promotion to Head of People (IFM) marks a significant step in her career growth within the company.
Prior to joining Mitie, Victoria founded and led VEO Proactive Consultancy Ltd, providing executive coaching and strategic leadership for nearly two years. Before that, she was the Head of Policies, Process, and Compliance at J Sainsbury Plc, where she was responsible for the Supply Chain & Logistics division, contributing significantly to succession planning and change management.
She also held the role of General Manager – Clothing Central Replenishment and Flow Team at Sainsbury’s, overseeing the strategic development of the Clothing multi-channel flow.
Victoria’s earlier career includes positions at Shoefayre, where she served as a Senior Merchandiser, and Next Group PLC as a Merchandiser. These roles allowed her to develop her expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and leadership.
