Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, August 2024 — Bennett Jones has announced the appointment of Catharine Rae as their new Director of Human Resources & Operations. In her new role, Catharine will be responsible for overseeing and driving the HR and operational strategies that align with the firm’s business objectives.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones, Catharine was the Human Resources Director at Norton Rose Fulbright for around six years and five months, where she led multiple HR initiatives that significantly improved employee engagement and organizational culture.
Earlier in her career, Catharine held the role of National Head, Legal Support Services at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) for ten years, where she was instrumental in developing and implementing legal support services across the firm.
Her career began at Burns, Fitzpatrick, Rogers & Schwartz LLP, where she served as an HR Manager and Practice Support Manager for over 15 years, laying a strong foundation in HR and legal support.
