Ankur Berry Joins BNY as Director – People Team

Pune, Maharashtra, India, August 2026 — Ankur Berry has joined BNY as Director – People Team, taking on a strategic people partnering mandate supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) organization in India and the F&IS organization globally.

In his new role, Berry will serve as a People Business Partner, working closely with business leadership and supporting people priorities across the organizations under his remit. The appointment places him at the intersection of business and people strategy, with responsibility for enabling organizational priorities through effective HR partnership.

Berry has built his professional specialization in human resources, personnel management and industrial relations. He holds a Master’s in Personnel Management (MPM) with a focus on Human Resources, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship, Pune University.

Alongside his professional responsibilities, Berry is further strengthening his management credentials. He is pursuing an Advanced General Management Program from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, coupled with an MBA from Liverpool Business School at Liverpool John Moores University, with the programs spanning 2025 to 2027.

His appointment at BNY represents an expanded people leadership mandate encompassing both India and global stakeholders, as he supports the COO organization in India while partnering with the F&IS organization across geographies.
