Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, September 2024 – Dr. Gaurav Buch has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Ami Polymer Pvt. Ltd. In this role, he will oversee the company’s HR functions and drive strategic human resource initiatives to support the company’s growth and operational excellence.
Dr. Gaurav Buch’s recent role was as Global CHRO at Scion International LLC, where he managed HR, Administration, Liaison, and Employer Branding across multiple global locations. During his tenure of about seven months, he played a crucial role in overseeing HR functions for a diverse portfolio of cosmetic brands and private labels.
Prior to that, he served as Global CHRO at Suntara Cosmetics Private Limited, also for around seven months. His responsibilities included managing HR operations across various international markets and overseeing global brands and private label products.
Dr. Buch was the Vice President – HR CC & Administration at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited for about a year. Here, he led HR and administrative functions for a major pharmaceutical conglomerate, focusing on strategic HR management, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Earlier, Dr. Buch held the position of CHRO & Group Head HR at Rasna International, a leading FMCG company in India. His role involved overseeing HR functions across multiple manufacturing facilities and regional offices, developing strategic HR initiatives, and enhancing employee engagement and performance management systems.
Dr. Buch also worked as Head HR (GM HR) at GHCL Limited from 2010 to 2013. In this role, he was responsible for HR system processes, strategic planning, talent acquisition, and employee relations across the company’s operations in western India.
