Dubai, UAE, October 2024 – Swapnil Sharma has been appointed as the Country Manager at Marico Middle East, bringing his extensive experience in partner relationship management and go-to-market strategy to the role. As Country Manager, Swapnil will lead Marico’s operations across the Middle East, focusing on expanding its market presence and driving growth within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
Before joining Marico Middle East, Swapnil served as an Area Sales Manager at Pidilite Industries Limited, where he was responsible for driving distribution sales and expanding the company’s network across the region. His leadership in sales, coaching, and network expansion helped increase the company’s footprint in key markets over his tenure of more than a year.
Prior to his role at Pidilite, Swapnil was a Territory Sales Manager at Hero MotoCorp. During his two-year tenure, he demonstrated strong leadership in sales planning, forecasting, and trade marketing while managing a diverse sales team across Gujarat. His focus on customer interaction, business development, and sales operations helped the company achieve notable success in the region.
Swapnil’s early career includes experiences with SCMHRD Guest Lecture Team, Renault, IBM, and Raymond Limited, where he honed his skills in problem-solving, customer satisfaction, and sales processes, building a strong foundation for his career in sales and management.
