Before joining Panthalassa, Kimberly Smith served as Vice President, Human Resources at Liquid Wire Inc. for over two years, where she led HR operations, executive development, retention strategies, and employee relations, contributing to organizational growth in the manufacturing sector. Her efforts in developing HR solutions and team effectiveness made a significant impact at Liquid Wire.
Prior to her role at Liquid Wire, Kimberly was the Chief Operations Officer at the Oregon Nurses Association for nearly five years, overseeing human resources, IT, finance, member services, and facilities management. She successfully led strategic initiatives and drove operational efficiency, enhancing people and culture in the organization.
Kimberly also held the position of Vice President of Administration at UbiVac, where she led HR, finance, and operations for a biotechnology company focused on therapeutic vaccines. During her almost two-year tenure, she helped transition the company from a research-focused entity to a commercial business, recruiting top talent and leading culture change initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Kimberly spent over five years as the Vice President of Administration at DianaPlantSciences (DPS), a biotech start-up where she was responsible for managing HR, IT, finance, and operations. Her leadership played a crucial role in scaling the company’s production capabilities and supporting its expansion into the cosmetic and nutraceutical markets.
