Philip Morris Malaysia promotes Sunny Sharma to the position of Director of People & Culture.
Sunny brings a decade plus of knowledge and expertise to his new role. Before joining Philip Morris International (PMI), Sunny made significant contributions at two notable companies, Reckitt Benckiser (RB) and Procter & Gamble (P&G), enhancing his reputation in the field of human resources.
During his tenure at PMI, Sunny has played a critical role in driving organizational strategy, particularly in his latest role as P&C (HR) Head in Malaysia, where he has been instrumental in establishing a purposeful engagement and a high-performing culture among employees across various functions, including a manufacturing unit. His efforts have been geared towards enabling a ‘Smoke Free Future’ in Malaysia, focusing on organization design, capabilities, and culture.
Prior to his achievements at PMI, Sunny held significant roles at RB for over 3 years, where he led the People Strategy for India’s Sales, Marketing, and E-Commerce Health team, and at P&G for over 5 years, where he was involved in various HR capacities, including HR Business Partner for Supply Chain and Talent Acquisition Head for India. His tenure at these companies was marked by innovative leadership and significant contributions towards employer branding and talent acquisition, setting a solid foundation for his subsequent achievements at PMI.
