Calgary, Alberta, Canada – October 2024 – Nadia Niazy has joined METAFOR as the Head of People & Culture. In her new role, Nadia will lead the strategic development of the company’s people initiatives, focusing on enhancing the employee experience, promoting a culture of inclusivity, and driving engagement across the organization.
Prior to METAFOR, Nadia Niazy served as a Senior Human Resources Consultant, Associate at Cenera, where she provided HR consulting services to clients in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, and environmental sustainability. Her work included full-cycle recruiting, performance management, and HR strategy development over an 8-month tenure.
Earlier, Nadia was a Manager of HR Talent / HR Advisor at StellarAlgo, where she played a pivotal role in talent acquisition, compensation strategy, and diversity initiatives for nearly 1.5 years. She was instrumental in launching internal and external communications strategies, leading DE&I projects, and developing career paths for engineering functions.
Nadia also worked as a People Operations Generalist at Neo Financial and later took on roles like Talent Acquisition Lead at Harvest Venture Partners and Harvest Venture Builder Inc.. During these tenures, she led tech recruitment, managed large-scale events, and developed talent strategies to support the growth of tech startups across Canada.
Her earlier career included significant experience as a Talent Acquisition Lead and Human Resources Specialist at Khaadi SMC Pvt. Ltd., where she managed recruitment processes, HRIS implementations, and talent development programs across four countries.
