Godrej Capital appoints Bhavya Misra as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Misra brings to Godrej Capital a vast array of experiences from her previous roles, notably as the Director and Head of HR for Lenovo in India. Her career spans over 17 years across various sectors including technology, FMCG, and retail, showcasing her capability in handling diverse HR functions and strategies.
Misra’s professional journey includes impactful tenures at PepsiCo, where she served in multiple capacities, including HR Director for Finance, Commercial, and IT for Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. Her role at Lenovo India, preceding her move to Godrej Capital, was marked by her leadership in HR across the India region and the Asia Pacific HR Head for the Mobile Business Group. Additionally, Misra’s experience at Bharti Walmart and Bharti Retail further complements her rich profile.
An MBA graduate from MDI Gurgaon, Misra started her career with PepsiCo as a management trainee in 2007, quickly climbing up the ranks to significant leadership positions. Her academic background is equally impressive, with a BSc (Hons) in Physics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, laying a strong foundation for her career in HR.
