Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – August 2024 – Ahmed Alsuwaidi has joined the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) as the new Head of Human Resources. In this role, Ahmed will lead ADIO’s human resources strategies, focusing on talent acquisition, employee development, and workforce planning to drive the organization’s mission of supporting Abu Dhabi’s investment landscape and fostering global partnerships.
Prior to joining ADIO, Ahmed served as an HR Business Partner at COP28 UAE, where he played a key role in workforce planning and talent management, supporting the HR needs for the major climate conference. His tenure at COP28 UAE was marked by his commitment to aligning HR practices with organizational goals, contributing to the overall success of this high-profile initiative.
Ahmed’s experience also includes his role as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at TAQA Group, where he honed his skills in sourcing and acquiring top talent. During his time at TAQA, he was instrumental in streamlining recruitment processes to attract skilled professionals who could drive the company’s strategic goals.
Before TAQA, Ahmed held the position of Employee Relations Officer at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. Here, he managed employee relations and developed initiatives to improve workplace morale and communication, ensuring a supportive environment for the medical staff and administrators.
Earlier in his career, Ahmed worked as a Corporate Workforce Planning and Recruitment Officer at Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) and a Human Resources Officer at Emirates Post, building a strong foundation in HR operations, workforce planning, and recruitment.
