Calgary, Alberta, Canada, November 2024 – Dana Mckechnie has taken on the role of Head of Human Resources at Inter Pipeline, where she will lead HR strategies, drive organizational culture initiatives, and oversee talent management programs to support the company’s dynamic growth and employee-centric values.
Dana joins Inter Pipeline after serving as an HR and Learning Executive at Growthspace, where she spearheaded initiatives to deliver impactful skill development solutions at scale through cutting-edge platforms.
Prior to this, Dana was a Vice President of HR at Suncor, where she held various leadership roles, including overseeing learning and capability development, enterprise-wide talent management, and total rewards. Her contributions included driving HR transformation, implementing leadership development programs, and aligning HR operations with strategic business goals over her 16-year tenure.
Dana also provided governance and advisory expertise as a Board Member at University of Calgary and Agilus Work Solutions, shaping HR strategies and policies to support organizational success.
Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at Ranchers Beef and Cargill, focusing on operations, leadership development, and training strategies that contributed to business growth and employee engagement.
