Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, December 2024 – Rajesh K Poddar has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Sahayog Hospitals. In his new role, Rajesh will lead HR operations across multiple locations, overseeing strategic HR functions and aligning organizational goals with the vision of the board. His leadership will be pivotal in driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, and operational excellence within the healthcare institution.
Rajesh most recently, worked as Global Lead HR for Hospitals and Fertility Clinics at Africare Global Business Ventures Pvt Ltd, where he managed HR operations in India and Kenya. He was responsible for recruitment, HR strategy, and operational alignment for hospital and fertility clinic businesses.
Rajesh also held a significant role at IQ City Knowledge & Health Campus as the General Manager – Human Resources (Head). During his nearly four years there, he successfully managed the HR functions for a medical college, hospital, and nursing college, including overseeing leadership hiring and compliance for medical education inspections.
Previously, Rajesh served as Asst. General Manager – Human Resources at VPS Rockland, where he streamlined HR policies and processes across multiple hospitals. His achievements included managing cost optimization exercises and leading HR transitions during mergers and acquisitions.
Rajesh began his career in healthcare HR with roles at Jaypee Hospital, Moolchand Healthcare, and Swastik Surgical Hospital, where he gained expertise in project commissioning, HR policy development, recruitment, and operational HR management.
