London, United Kingdom, August 2026 — Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) has appointed Summer Curtis as Head of Talent Acquisition, bringing an extensive background in global talent acquisition, executive search, technology recruitment and recruitment transformation to the professional services firm.
Curtis joins RLB following her tenure as Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Hiscox, where she led a global talent acquisition transformation covering the UK, US and Europe. Her remit included hiring across more than 10 countries and responsibility for TA strategy, delivery, governance and technology. During this period, she redesigned the global operating model, introduced standardised hiring practices and analytics, and worked to reduce reliance on external agencies.
Previously, Curtis was Head of Technology Recruitment, EMEA at TikTok, leading technology and R&D recruitment during a period of significant expansion. She supported hiring across 19 business units and nine countries, covering areas including engineering, infrastructure, machine learning, data and SRE. Her work also encompassed technical assessment frameworks, diversity-focused hiring strategies, employer branding and recruitment analytics.
Earlier, she served as an Executive Search Partner at HSBC, partnering with C-suite and executive leaders on senior appointments, succession planning, market intelligence and leadership assessment across Wealth & Personal Banking and Technology. Before HSBC, Curtis spent more than two years with Huawei Technologies as Senior Manager, High End Talent, EMEA, where she helped establish an in-house executive and senior technical recruitment capability and built talent pipelines across AI, machine learning, 5G, IoT, semiconductors and cybersecurity.
Her earlier career includes talent acquisition and recruitment positions with Royal Bank of Scotland Business, Hudson, Investigo and Michael Page. Alongside her corporate career, Curtis founded Pursuit in 2026, an AI-native candidate operating system designed for senior professionals navigating complex career transitions. Her work with Pursuit has further developed her experience in AI-enabled recruitment workflows, career analytics, market intelligence and interview preparation.
