In this role, John will leverage his extensive background in finance and operations to steer Apifon’s strategic direction, enhance its global market presence, and drive innovation in multichannel communication solutions. His leadership marks a new chapter for Apifon as it aims to expand its offerings and strengthen its position in the technology sector.
John has been with Apifon for a year, serving as Chief Financial and Operations Officer before stepping into the CEO position. During his tenure, he successfully optimized operational efficiencies and financial strategies, laying a strong foundation for Apifon’s growth and scalability.
Prior to Apifon, John spent over seven years at Microsoft, holding roles such as Finance Senior Manager and Financial Controller. He contributed significantly to the financial planning and performance optimization of Microsoft’s operations in Greece, Cyprus, and Malta. His strategic insights and leadership were instrumental in driving fiscal excellence across multiple regions.
John’s earlier experience includes serving as a Financial Controller/FP&A at Samsung Electronics, where he streamlined financial processes and implemented advanced analytics to enhance decision-making. His tenure at Coca-Cola HBC saw him excel in roles such as Senior FP&A Analyst and Commercial Finance Analyst, focusing on revenue optimization and SAP systems integration.
John began his career in the Hellenic Airforce, where he gained foundational leadership and organizational skills that have underpinned his professional journey.
