Italy, December 2024 – Valeria Ferrari has been appointed as Head of People & Performance for the Mainland Europe Ops cluster (Italy, Netherlands, Spain, France) at Kraft Heinz. In this role, she assumes overall HR responsibility for a critical cluster comprising five factories across four countries, with a workforce of approximately 1,200 employees. Valeria leads a team of around 20 HR professionals, including senior HR managers and talent specialists, to drive Kraft Heinz’s people strategies across the region.
Valeria has been with Kraft Heinz for over six years, progressing through various leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Head of Talent | Europe Supply Chain, overseeing talent acquisition, development, and leadership initiatives across operations in five countries. Her achievements include implementing robust strategies in DEI&B, leadership development, and talent management while leading a team of six. Before that, she was HR Lead Italy | Operations & Industrial Relations, where she played a key role in transforming the Italian operations, fostering agility, and nurturing a participative culture. Valeria also managed industrial relations, ensuring constructive partnerships with trade unions, while leading a specialized HR team.
Prior to joining Kraft Heinz, Valeria held significant HR roles at Johnson & Johnson for over six years, contributing across manufacturing and commercial sites in Italy. She focused on talent management, compensation, organizational design, digital transformation, and M&A integration, often taking on international assignments. Earlier in her career, she worked with Praxi Spa, Wind, and Key Safety Systems, gaining expertise in HR consultancy, training, development, and employee relations.
Valeria holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Sapienza Università di Roma, equipping her with the strategic mindset and skills to excel in her new role at Kraft Heinz.
