Iquique, Tarapacá Region, Chile — Arturo Bejarano C. has been appointed as the new Chief of Technological Infrastructure at CircularTec.
Bejarano brings over two decades of extensive experience in project management, engineering, and business development, with a specialized focus on promoting sustainable practices in the technological sector.
In this role, he will oversee the enhancement of technological infrastructure to foster a circular economy, using innovative science and technology in Chile and across Latin America.
Prior to joining CircularTec, Bejarano held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Comercial e Industrial Solutec in Santiago, where he was responsible for optimizing operations in food ingredient production and played a pivotal role in streamlining processes to enhance productivity and client response times. He also significantly contributed to maintaining compliance with ISO22000:2018 standards.
Bejarano’s earlier positions include serving as a Project Management Consultant at Universidad de Chile, where he led the development of business cases for a new CDMO aimed at manufacturing vaccines and biopharmaceuticals. His strategic insights facilitated key partnerships with top-tier engineering firms.
Throughout his career, Bejarano has been recognized for his ability to lead complex projects, particularly in the biotechnology and manufacturing sectors, and for fostering innovation that aligns with environmental sustainability goals.
