Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2024 – Pepperfry, a leading e-commerce platform for furniture and home décor, has announced the elevation of Madhusudan Bihani to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his new capacity, Bihani will oversee the company’s financial strategy, compliance, and operational efficiencies, driving its continued success in the competitive market.
Bihani joined Pepperfry in 2019, bringing extensive experience in finance, taxation, corporate compliance, and auditing. As Assistant Vice President – Finance Controller, he spearheaded key financial initiatives and governance. In 2021, he advanced to Vice President – Finance, where he played a pivotal role in managing the company’s profitability and operational efficiencies.
Before Pepperfry, Bihani spent over nine years at Kraft Heinz in various leadership roles. As Financial Controller, he managed financial reporting under US GAAP and Ind-AS and implemented Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) strategies. In his earlier roles, he contributed significantly to business budgeting, planning, and corporate taxation while managing treasury functions and working capital optimization.
Bihani began his career with Mahajan & Aibara as a Senior Consultant in internal audits and management consultancy, followed by roles at UIL Commodities DMCC and Anil Goenka & Co., where he honed his expertise in financial management, auditing, and corporate compliance.
