London, United Kingdom, February 2025 – Mobico Group PLC has appointed Catherine Lynch as Interim Chief People Officer. With a strong track record in transformational HR leadership, organizational change, and governance, Catherine will play a pivotal role in guiding Mobico’s people strategy during a period of significant transformation.
In her interim role, she will focus on enhancing talent strategy, driving cultural transformation, and aligning HR initiatives with the company’s long-term growth vision. Catherine will also continue seeking Non-Executive Director (NED) opportunities throughout 2025.
Prior to this role, Catherine served as Chief People Officer at Essentra, where she redesigned the company’s operating model, strengthened governance, and implemented key people transformation strategies. She also played a vital role in hiring key executives, improving leadership effectiveness, and optimizing HR functions.
Before Essentra, she was Group HR Transformation Director at Rentokil Initial, leading M&A people transformation, global HR technology implementation, and people analytics initiatives for a £11 billion enterprise with operations in 90 countries.
Catherine also held executive HR leadership roles at Flutter Entertainment, Virgin Media, Towergate Insurance, and Barclays, where she led large-scale workforce transformations, talent acquisition, and organizational development strategies.
Her diverse experience across FTSE 250 and multinational organizations makes her a strategic asset to Mobico Group PLC, ensuring a seamless transition and a robust people-focused approach during this phase of transformation.
