Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, February 2025 – George Martirosov has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Fleetwood Urban, where he will oversee financial strategy, business planning, and operational efficiency to drive growth and innovation in the company’s expanding portfolio.
George joins Fleetwood Urban after six years at Transurban, where he most recently served as Senior Commercial Manager, overseeing commercial strategy and asset integration for major infrastructure projects. Prior to this, he was Head of Finance for WestConnex, leading financial planning, investment analysis, and business operations across multiple assets. Additionally, he held key roles in planning, analysis, and project accounting during the delivery and asset management phases of the WestConnex project.
Before Transurban, George spent nearly seven years at Shell, where he served as Head of Finance for a major joint venture project, leading a team of 28 professionals across project funding, financial planning, and cost optimization for a $6 billion pipeline project. Earlier, he held leadership roles in financial planning, budgeting, and business development within Shell’s international ventures, with a focus on large-scale acquisitions and capital projects.
Earlier in his career, George held senior financial roles at Sydney Motorway Corporation, Genesis Energy, and Alfa-Bank, focusing on risk management, treasury operations, and commercial finance. His experience in statistical modeling, financial structuring, and strategic investments has positioned him as a highly skilled finance leader across multiple industries.
