Bringing decades of expertise in technology leadership, Jaura will spearhead research and development initiatives, drive digital transformation, and enhance sustainable mobility solutions.
Before joining JK Tyre, Jaura served as Chief Technology Officer at Hero MotoCorp, where he managed global R&D and innovation centers in India and Germany. His leadership was instrumental in transforming product development landscapes, accelerating EV and ICE launches, and expanding connectivity and digital solutions for two-wheelers.
Earlier, Jaura spent over seven years at Michelin, where he led technology valorization, digital transformation, and hydrogen mobility initiatives. As Managing Director at Michelin India Technology Centre, he drove synergies across engineering, data analytics, and AI while forging strategic collaborations with academic institutions and ecosystem partners. Prior to that, he worked at Ford Motor Company for over nine years, playing a key role in hybrid vehicle engineering, hydrogen fuel technology, and powertrain innovation.
With deep expertise in automotive technology, product engineering, and sustainable mobility, Jaura’s appointment aligns with JK Tyre’s commitment to innovation. He will focus on enhancing R&D capabilities, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, and strengthening industry partnerships to drive the company’s next phase of growth and digital transformation.
