Gurugram, Haryana, India, February 2025 – Parmeshwaran Iyer has been appointed as Chief Supply Chain Officer at Apollo Tyres Ltd, where he will oversee the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations, driving efficiency, innovation, and operational excellence. With a career spanning over two decades across sectors including FMCG, healthcare, oil, and white goods, Iyer brings extensive experience in planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and digital supply chain transformation.
Prior to joining Apollo Tyres, Iyer spent 15 years at Beiersdorf, where he held multiple leadership roles in global and regional supply chain management. Most recently, as Global Vice President of Digital Supply Chain, he led Beiersdorf’s end-to-end digital transformation strategy, aligning with the company’s Supply Chain Roadmap 2025. Before that, he served as Global Vice President – Supply Chain Management and Regional Vice President – Supply Chain, where he managed supply chain functions across Sub-Saharan Africa, Russia, and Southwest Asia, including India.

Earlier, Iyer was with Johnson & Johnson as Manager – Supply Chain, where he oversaw inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. He also held key positions at TotalEnergies, Daikin Airconditioning, and NIVEA India Pvt Ltd, gaining extensive experience in supply chain strategy, procurement, and logistics operations. His strategic vision and operational expertise have been instrumental in enhancing supply chain resilience and efficiency across organizations.
