With a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, and business leadership spanning over three decades, Ram brings deep industry expertise and a strong strategic vision to the company.
Prior to rejoining Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd., Ram Mehrotra served as Senior Vice President (Sales & Marketing) at Astral Limited, where he played a pivotal role in spearheading the company’s entry into the Indian paints market. His leadership was instrumental in brand development, go-to-market strategy, and sales expansion for Astral’s paints division.

Previously, he had an extensive 25-year career at Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd., where he held various senior leadership positions. As Vice President (Sales & Marketing), he led the decorative paints division, focusing on market share growth, profitability, and brand enhancement. He also served as Assistant Vice President (Sales), General Manager (Marketing), and General Manager (Sales), where he played a crucial role in expanding the company’s reach, strengthening customer relationships, and driving product innovation.
Earlier in his career, Ram held key roles at Rajinder Steels Limited and Usha International Limited, where he was responsible for market development, sales expansion, and business growth in the steel and engine segments. His vast experience in business development, brand management, and sales transformation has made him a key player in the Indian paints and coatings industry.
