Lebanon, Tennessee, United States, March 2025 – Wilson Bank & Trust has announced the appointment of Patty Hoppenstedt as Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, she will lead the bank’s HR strategy, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and organizational growth while reinforcing the institution’s strong community-driven culture.
Before joining Wilson Bank & Trust, Patty Hoppenstedt was the Chief People Officer and Board Member at Southwestern Family of Companies, where she provided strategic leadership for 23 companies and oversaw a workforce of 2,000 contractors and 350 employees globally. During her tenure, she played a critical role in corporate policy, M&A, and business strategy.
Earlier, she served as Director of Human Resources Operations at DentaQuest, where she developed scalable HR strategies for a rapidly growing business across six states with over 1,000 employees. Before that, she was a Human Resources Business Partner at Amedisys, supporting 150+ care centers across multiple regions and strengthening organizational capabilities.
Patty also brings extensive public sector experience, having worked as Assistant City Manager for DeKalb, Illinois, where she managed seven municipal departments, labor relations, and HR strategy. Additionally, she was Director of Human Resources for the Village of Schaumburg, where she led HR initiatives across compensation, labor relations, and talent development.
She holds an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, where she was actively involved in Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority and student leadership programs.
