Jill Donovan Appointed as Head of US Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Operations at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals

Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States, June 2025 – Jill Donovan has been named Head of US Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Operations at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, where she will drive recruitment strategies and talent operations to support the company’s continued innovation and growth in RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutics.

Prior to joining Alnylam, Jill held the role of Vice President, Talent Acquisition at Beam Therapeutics, where she oversaw talent acquisition for a pioneering genome editing company. During her tenure, Jill played a pivotal role in building the leadership and scientific teams, strengthening the company’s position in the biotech sector.

Earlier, she served at Agios Pharmaceuticals for nearly five years, advancing from Senior Manager Talent Acquisition to Director, Talent Acquisition. At Agios, Jill led end-to-end recruitment for key talent and helped drive organizational growth through innovative talent strategies across various roles, including Associate Director and Director of Talent Acquisition.

Before her experience in-house at leading biotechs, Jill built a strong foundation at Commonwealth Sciences, Inc. for nearly a decade, progressing from Scientific Recruiter to Recruiting Manager/Sr. Scientific Recruiter/Trainer. She developed deep expertise in scientific recruitment, candidate engagement, and team training, which set the stage for her later leadership in the life sciences sector.

Jill began her career as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy and as a Tutor at Rhode Island College, where she supported students and built a passion for scientific learning and development.
