Joseph Ajit A Varghese has been a pivotal figure within Technip Energies, serving in various capacities since joining the firm in July 2019. Prior to his promotion, Varghese excelled as an HRBP in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where he spearheaded HR initiatives, managed people agenda for employees and managers, and led change management initiatives, among other responsibilities. His efforts significantly contributed to enhancing the organization’s HR processes, talent management, employee engagement, and succession planning.

Before his tenure at Technip Energies, Varghese enriched his HR expertise at Technip India Limited, serving as Manager – HR from May 2008 to July 2019. There, he was responsible for performance management, talent management, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, and more, playing a crucial role in shaping the HR landscape of the organization.

Earlier in his career, Varghese gained valuable experience as an Associate Consultant at Siga Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd, and as a Trainee Accounts Receivables Executive at Perot Systems Business Process Solution Pvt Ltd. These roles provided him with a solid foundation in recruitment, training coordination, and financial processes, further enriching his skill set in the HR domain.

In his new role at Technip Energies Doha, Varghese will lead the People & Culture and Communications departments, focusing on nurturing a productive and inclusive work environment, and facilitating effective communication strategies. His extensive experience in HR management and communications will be instrumental in driving Technip Energies’ mission to execute game-changing projects and promote sustainable energy solutions globally.
