Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 — Yusuf Pachmariwala has been appointed as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi Cash Management Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi Payment Services Pvt. Ltd., effective April 1, 2025. In this role, he will succeed Anup Neogi and take charge of spearheading business growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and accelerating strategic initiatives in the evolving cash management sector.
Yusuf currently serves as Director, Operations – Cash Business at Hitachi Payment Services, where he has been instrumental in scaling up operations and streamlining efficiencies across the organization. With Hitachi Payment Services managing over 79,000 ATMs and enabling millions of digital transactions daily, his appointment is expected to further bolster the company’s footprint in the financial services and payments ecosystem.
With a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years, Yusuf brings a wealth of expertise in customer service, business conservation, project management, and operational transformation. Prior to joining Hitachi, he served for nearly 21 years at Tata AIA Life Insurance, where he held multiple leadership roles including Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President & Head of Operations, and Vice President – Operations. He successfully led branch operations across 440+ locations and drove strategic initiatives that significantly improved service delivery and business retention.
Yusuf began his professional journey at Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd., followed by a stint at HDFC Bank, where he contributed to launching new services and streamlining custodial operations. His broad experience in managing complex vendor ecosystems, digital transformation projects, and operational excellence makes him a valuable leader poised to take Hitachi Cash Management Services to new heights.
