In this role, she will be responsible for driving J.Crew’s enterprise-wide hiring strategy and partnering closely with business leaders to attract top talent that aligns with the company’s culture and brand identity.
Silverlee has been with J.Crew for over three years, previously serving as Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, where she led recruitment for both corporate and retail functions. Her work helped strengthen the brand’s hiring processes and talent pipeline across key business units in the fashion and retail sector.
Before joining J.Crew, she was Talent Acquisition Manager at Equinox, where she focused on building high-performing teams in a fast-paced, luxury lifestyle environment. Her strategic sourcing skills and leadership in recruitment operations made a lasting impact.

Earlier in her career, Silverlee held multiple roles at Gap Inc., including Senior Recruiter for HQ and Field, where she played a key role in scaling retail and corporate teams, enhancing candidate experience, and optimizing hiring strategies across the Greater New York City area.
Silverlee’s retail roots run deep—having previously served as Store Manager at flagship locations for Free People, The Kooples, and AllSaints, and holding various roles at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. and Hollister Co., including District Manager and General Manager. These frontline retail experiences have given her a rich understanding of talent dynamics from both strategic and operational standpoints.
