Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 – Capt. Raman Raina has taken on a new leadership role as Head of Human Resources at Grindwell Norton Ltd, a pioneer in India’s manufacturing sector with a legacy rooted in innovation, sustainability, and excellence. In his new capacity, Capt. Raina will drive GNO’s people agenda, focusing on enhancing employee experience, strengthening organizational capability, and aligning HR strategy with the company’s evolving business goals.
Most recently, Capt. Raina served as Group CHRO and Head of the Global Capability Centre at Foresight Group, where he led talent strategy and digital capability development across geographies, contributing to major transformation initiatives from Mumbai.
Prior to that, he spent over five years with Honeywell, holding key HR leadership roles across APAC and India. As HR Director – APAC, and earlier as HR Leader – India, he was instrumental in streamlining HR operations, building leadership pipelines, and driving cultural transformation across the region.
Earlier in his career, Capt. Raina held senior HR roles at ANAND Group India, including stints as Head HR at Mahle Behr Engineering Services, Pune, and Deputy General Manager – Human Resources at Anand Automotive, New Delhi. He was deeply involved in end-to-end HR responsibilities, particularly in automotive engineering services and plant HR operations.
He began his professional journey as a Commissioned Officer in the Indian Army, serving nearly six years before transitioning into the corporate world. His military background continues to influence his values of discipline, leadership, and resilience—qualities that have defined his HR leadership journey.
