Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 — Badal Choudhary has been elevated to the role of Director, CD Transformation (Centre of Excellence) at Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd, marking a significant milestone in his career in the FMCG and consumer healthcare industry. With more than a decade of leadership experience across modern trade, brand management, and omnichannel strategies, Choudhary brings a rich blend of commercial and consumer insight to his new position.

At Colgate-Palmolive, Badal previously led the company’s largest direct trade and e-commerce portfolio, including strategic engagements with Reliance Retail, JioMart, Flipkart, bigbasket, and other key retail platforms. In this capacity, he successfully drove joint business planning, performance marketing, and customer development, while leading a national team of key account managers and trade specialists.

Before rejoining Colgate-Palmolive, Badal served as Category Lead at Bayer in the Consumer Health division, where he managed the analgesics portfolio and led impactful brand launches and repositioning efforts for Saridon. He has also held prominent brand and customer marketing roles at Marico Limited, where he launched Marico’s first premium hair oil on e-commerce, and led category marketing for major modern trade accounts.

His early career included pivotal roles in shopper marketing and sales at Kenvue (formerly J&J Consumer), and product management for international markets. An alumnus of FMS Delhi and NIT Kurukshetra, Badal was recognized as an Economic Times Young Leader, a testament to his strategic vision, commercial acumen, and deep commitment to driving consumer-first growth.

In his new role, Badal will lead the Centre of Excellence in Customer Development at Colgate-Palmolive, focusing on innovation, executional excellence, and digital transformation across channels. His elevation reflects the company’s focus on strengthening customer engagement and adapting to the evolving retail landscape in India.
