Greater Hartford, United States, April 2025 – Karra McCormack has taken on a new role as Head of Global Talent Acquisition & Management at Talcott Financial Group. In this strategic leadership role, she will oversee the company’s end-to-end talent lifecycle including recruitment, talent pipeline development, performance management, succession planning, and learning & development. Her mission is to drive scalable, forward-thinking people strategies that support Talcott’s continued global growth and award-winning workplace culture.
Before joining Talcott Financial Group, Karra McCormack spent 12 years at the LEGO Group, most recently as Head of Talent Acquisition across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. She led global recruitment strategies across diverse business verticals and drove operational excellence initiatives across China, Europe, and APAC. She also had prior roles at LEGO as Director of Executive Recruitment, Senior Global Manager, and Strategic HR Business Partner, where she worked closely with senior leadership to enable transformation and future-ready workforce planning.
Earlier in her career, she worked with The Hartford for over six years, where she served as Director of Talent Acquisition and Management and Staffing Manager, supporting high-volume professional hiring in areas such as IT, actuarial, law, and enterprise risk. Her work at The Hartford contributed to reduced time-to-hire and improved diversity pipelines.
Karra holds an MS in Human Resources and Counseling from the University of Bridgeport, bringing both strategic vision and people-centric leadership to every role.
