São Paulo, Brazil, April 2025 – Ju Micali has joined Smurfit Westrock as Chief Financial Officer, Brazil, bringing with her over two decades of extensive experience in financial leadership across global organizations and strategic markets.
At Smurfit Westrock, Ju will lead financial strategy and operations for the Brazil market, contributing to the organization’s growth and integration efforts following the landmark merger of WestRock and Smurfit Kappa. Her role is pivotal in aligning finance with the company’s ambitious vision for the future of packaging innovation and sustainability.
Before this, Ju served as Finance Vice President at Mondelēz International for over two years, where she was instrumental in driving financial strategy across the Brazil business. She previously held several key leadership roles over a 17-year tenure at Syngenta, including CFO for Latin America SE, CFO for Spain & Portugal, and Controller for North America, managing multi-billion-dollar portfolios and leading successful business transformations and integrations.
Her early career included financial and business analyst roles at Gillette do Brasil (Procter & Gamble) and hospitality operations at IHG Hotels & Resorts, contributing to her versatile and global perspective on business performance.
