Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, April 2025 – Andrew Arthur has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Endolith, a pioneering company focused on sustainable mining through synthetic biology and cloud-powered innovation. In his new role, Andrew will lead the financial strategy and governance for Endolith as it scales its cutting-edge solutions in the mining sector.
Prior to joining Endolith, Andrew Arthur served for over five years as Managing Director at Andrew Arthur Consulting Pty Ltd, where he provided strategic and commercial advisory services to the mining sector. His focus was on optimizing legacy copper assets, strategic planning, and closure management, delivering high-impact solutions through deep domain expertise.
Before that, Andrew had a distinguished 9-year tenure at BHP, where he held several senior leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Vice President Technical Excellence and Legacy Assets, and previously as Vice President Resource Engineering and Vice President Strategy and Development – Copper, contributing significantly to global initiatives across Chile and Australia. He also led strategic development in the Uranium division during his tenure.
Andrew earlier served as Global Practice Leader for Strategy, Business Development, and Acquisitions & Divestments at BHP Billiton, based in London. He played a central role in global M&A activities and business transformation initiatives, leveraging financial modeling and strategic partnerships to unlock business value.
His early leadership experience was further enriched through various finance and business development roles across multiple continents, preparing him to lead complex transformations and financial strategy in high-growth environments.
