Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, April 2025 – At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of thyssenkrupp Marine Systems (tkMS) appointed Angelika Kambeck to succeed Bernd Hartmann as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Labor Director of thyssenkrupp Marine Systems. Angelika Kambeck will take up her position on June 1, 2025, the company announced.

As an experienced HR manager with extensive expertise from responsibility, including in three DAX and MDax companies, such as Volkswagen AG, E.ON, and Klöckner & Co SE, she will make an important contribution to the growth strategy of thyssenkrupp Marine Systems in the future. She will contribute her in-depth experience in the areas of strategic organizational development, people empowerment, cultural change, new work, and digital transformation, among others.
Angelika Kambeck writes about her move on LinkedIn: “It had to be a task/step that fascinates me in the long term when I switch from self-employment to a company again. Above all, however, they had to be people with whom I can well imagine working together successfully, being innovative and shaping the future together, where it is necessary and where the tried and tested can be preserved. Oliver Burkhard and team are exactly such people. And thyssenkrupp Marine Systems is a company that does an important job with its 8,000 employees worldwide. Right now.”
Most recently, Angelika Kambeck worked as an independent HR advisor, consultant, and coach.
The CEO of tkMS, Oliver Burkhard, emphasizes: “We are pleased that we have been able to recruit Angelika Kambeck, a highly qualified expert, for the position of Chief Human Resources Officer. I am convinced that with her extensive and many years of experience in organizational and personnel development, she will be an enrichment of the tkMS leadership team.
