Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, April 2025 – IGT Solutions has announced the appointment of Ajay Kumar Goyal as its new Chief Financial Officer, bringing with him over two decades of financial leadership experience across global markets. Ajay’s strategic expertise in driving growth, margin expansion, financial governance, and digital transformation will be central to IGT’s mission of delivering AI-led, next-generation customer experiences.
Prior to joining IGT Solutions, Ajay served as the CFO of Infosys Consulting, where he also led finance for HIPUS, a joint venture between Infosys, Hitachi, and Panasonic based in Japan. He held critical leadership roles overseeing finance operations in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America, managing a full spectrum of financial functions from business finance to M&A, budgeting, and treasury.
Earlier, Ajay played a key role at Blue Acorn iCi (an Infosys Group company) and Tessolve (part of Hero Electronix) as Head of Finance and Director-Finance respectively, leading financial planning, investor management, and global compliance functions. His ability to work across diverse geographies and stakeholder ecosystems positioned him as a go-to finance leader for complex, multi-national operations.
Over a 12-year tenure with Infosys, Ajay held multiple leadership positions, including Senior Manager of Business Finance and Manager of Corporate Finance in Japan, overseeing finance across seven international branches. His work was pivotal in automation, tax audits, and regulatory compliance across the Asia-Pacific region.
Ajay began his career with roles in corporate accounting and auditing, including early stints at Bahl and Batra (Chartered Accountants). A Chartered Accountant at just 20, Ajay was recognized by Business World as one of India’s Top 40 Finance Leaders under 40 in both 2022 and 2023. His academic excellence and cross-cultural leadership experience spanning the U.S., Japan, and India bring unmatched strategic depth to his new role at IGT.
