Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland, June 2025 – Tiina Salo has been appointed as Vice President, People & Culture at Telko, a leading distributor of plastics, chemicals, and lubricants solutions across Europe and Eastern markets. In her new role, Tiina will lead Telko’s people strategy, organizational development, and cultural evolution to support the company’s continued growth and sustainability focus.
Tiina brings over 15 years of comprehensive HR leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving people strategies across industrial, service, and multinational environments.
Prior to joining Telko, Tiina served for more than five years as Group HR Manager at Masino Group, where she was responsible for HR strategy and operations across the Group and its subsidiaries. Her leadership helped strengthen HR foundations, streamline policies, and support talent and capability development across diverse business units.
Before that, she spent nearly five years with Quant Service, where she rose through multiple roles from HR Generalist to HR Director for Finland & Baltics. During her tenure, she successfully led HR integration following mergers, supported operational excellence through training and change management, and served as a strategic partner to regional leadership teams.
Tiina’s earlier experience includes HR roles in both operational and strategic capacities, including her time as HR Coordinator and Team Leader at RTG Ground Handling Oy, and various customer-facing roles that deepened her understanding of service excellence, employee engagement, and cross-functional leadership.
