Toronto, Ontario, Canada, June 2025 – Akshay Bardia has been promoted to Managing Director at Accenture, recognizing his continued impact in leading digital transformation across the Retail, Consumer Goods & Services (CG&S), and Travel sectors. Based in Toronto, Akshay will now play a more strategic leadership role in driving innovation, client success, and operational excellence across Accenture’s Canadian operations.
Akshay joined Accenture nearly two years ago and has served as Associate Director & Canada Lead – Retail, CG&S, Travel, where he led end-to-end client engagements across high-growth verticals. His expertise in strategic consulting, digital enablement, and operational analytics contributed to transformative business outcomes for some of the region’s top enterprises.
Before joining Accenture, Akshay spent six years at Mu Sigma Inc., where he held multiple roles including Business Unit Head – Retail, CPG & Financial Services and Country Head – Australia. In these roles, he managed multimillion-dollar P&Ls and oversaw delivery teams across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. His leadership helped scale AI-driven solutions and triple business revenue by aligning data analytics with enterprise priorities.
Earlier, Akshay worked with Fidelity Investments for over six years, rising from Intern to Senior Analyst in the Business Analytics & Research division. During this time, he led the firm’s win-loss analytics program and delivered insights on market trends and fintech disruption, earning visibility at the executive leadership level.
Akshay’s early career also includes mentoring workshops at Christ University, internships at Goldman Sachs, and leading student-driven creative initiatives in filmmaking and theatre. This multidisciplinary experience has helped shape his unique leadership style that combines analytical rigor with creative problem-solving.
