Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 – The Anand Rathi Group, one of India’s leading financial services firms, has announced the appointment of Tulanahinaa Maity as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for its Investment Services and Institutional Equity businesses. This strategic appointment reflects the Group’s focus on talent excellence and its continued commitment to strengthening its leadership across high-impact verticals.

In her new role, Maity will lead human capital strategy, organizational development, and culture-building efforts to support Anand Rathi’s ambitious growth plans across capital markets. She will also be instrumental in shaping future-ready HR practices and driving leadership capability across the Investment Services and Institutional Equity functions.

Before joining Anand Rathi Group, Tulanahinaa Maity served as an Independent Director and Board Member at Instassure Insurance Solutions Ltd, where she contributed to corporate governance and HR insights at the board level. Prior to that, she held the position of National Head HR & Lead DEI at YES BANK, where she drove strategic HR initiatives, digital transformation, and employee engagement. Her leadership was integral to YES BANK’s recognition as a Great Place to Work.

Earlier, Maity spent four years at Max Life Insurance, where she held multiple HR leadership roles including Head HR – Bancassurance, E-Commerce, Group Business, and Partnership Distribution, and Head HR – Bancassurance and Diversity & Inclusion. During this time, she launched talent development programs, led HR transformation, and championed diversity initiatives that significantly improved retention and cultural inclusivity.

She also held senior HR roles at IndusInd Bank for over seven years, including as National HR Partner and Zonal HR Partner for North India, where she was instrumental in talent acquisition, campus strategies, and business HR partnerships across domestic and international operations.

Her career began with impactful HR roles at Religare and Standard Chartered Bank, where she led performance management, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives. At Standard Chartered, she also pioneered regional resourcing operations and oversaw CSR initiatives that elevated the bank’s community and sustainability agenda.
