Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, June 2025 — Pradeep Kumar has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer – India at Infravision, marking a strategic leadership move that underscores the company’s commitment to scaling its pioneering drone-enabled solutions in India’s rapidly evolving energy infrastructure sector. His appointment comes at a crucial juncture as India accelerates its clean energy roadmap and demand for efficient, reliable, and tech-driven transmission solutions grows.
Pradeep brings over two decades of extensive experience across the power, energy, and infrastructure sectors. He most recently served as Joint President and Head – Centre of Excellence at Bajel Projects Ltd, where he was instrumental in incubating emerging businesses and streamlining design and engineering capabilities. He previously led transmission business operations as Business Head at Bajaj Electricals Ltd, managing profit and loss for transmission lines, substations, and monopole segments across India.
Before his tenure at Bajaj, Pradeep was associated with Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL), where he spearheaded large-scale BOOT transmission projects and EPC contracts. His accomplishments include executing over 600 kilometers of 400 kV and 765 kV transmission lines and numerous substations and pump house infrastructure projects. His ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects has been widely recognized.
Pradeep began his career in the Indian Navy, where he served for seven years, contributing to the country’s indigenous nuclear submarine projects as an electrical and IT officer. His naval background brings a disciplined, mission-oriented approach to project execution, planning, and leadership.
In his new role at Infravision, Pradeep will oversee Indian operations, focusing on project delivery, market expansion, and stakeholder engagement. His mandate includes accelerating the deployment of Infravision’s drone-based technology for power line construction, aerial installations, and infrastructure inspections—reshaping how India builds and maintains its power grid.
