Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Carnelian Asset Management and Advisors Pvt Ltd has announced the appointment of Roshan Nair as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, he will lead the HR function across the Carnelian Group, driving talent strategy, organizational design, and people transformation to support the firm’s continued growth in the alternate asset management space.
Prior to joining Carnelian, Roshan Nair served as Senior General Manager – HR at UltraTech Cement, where he led HR for high-growth emerging businesses and played a key role in driving HR Centers of Excellence across Learning, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition. His work included leading talent strategy for large workforces, building succession pipelines, and driving capability development across functions.
Earlier, he held a pivotal role as Associate Director HR at Tata Digital, where he partnered closely with the CEO and C-suite to build and scale multiple fintech businesses from the ground up, leading talent strategy, organizational design, and HR infrastructure for high-growth verticals.
He also brings global experience from Nium, where he led talent acquisition and HR transformation initiatives during a rapid scale-up phase, along with roles at Maersk, Mahindra Lifespaces, and DHL, building deep expertise in HR business partnering, global talent management, and organizational transformation across industries.
Roshan Nair holds an MBA in Human Resources Development from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), adding a strong academic foundation to his extensive HR leadership experience.
